I Love You, I Hate You follows a young Black writer named Sage, played by Little Simz, dealing with writer's block while staying at her grandmother's old house. The 20-minute short narrative film was directed by Sam Pilling, commissioned by WePresent by WeTransfer, and released in tandem with the standout track from her acclaimed 2021 album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.
